The IBPSA Building Simulation 2027 conference will take place at the historic Main Building of the University of Vienna, one of Europe’s most prestigious academic institutions, located in the heart of the city. Founded in 1365, the University represents centuries of academic excellence and international exchange and is home to around 90,000 students from all over the world.
The venue combines impressive architecture with a well-established and highly functional conference infrastructure. A total of 29 lecture halls and additional event spaces are available. The Audimax, with seating for up to 750 participants, serves as the central hall for opening and closing ceremonies as well as keynote sessions. Multiple additional rooms allow for parallel sessions, workshops, and interactive formats.
With a total capacity of up to 3,500 participants, the venue is ideally suited for large international events. The spacious arcades provide an excellent environment for exhibitions, poster sessions, and informal networking, an essential part of scientific exchange.
